Configure Focus Mode

Overview

In this video, you'll learn how to configure focus mode in the Gen AI factory and how to use it from the Gen AI assistant. This is designed for administrators who need to configure and manage focus modes in the Genai platform. Without focus mode, the Gen AI assistant has access to every agent configured in the tenant. That works fine in simple environments, but as the number of agents grows and systems multiply, the assistant has less context to make accurate routing decisions. Focus mode addresses that in specific ways. It reduces cognitive load by presenting users with only the agents relevant to their context. It improves response quality by narrowing the agent's search space, which means fewer opportunities for the wrong agent to be called. It enables persona-specific workflows. So the right agents are available to the right people, and it supports application-specific constraints and permissions, giving administrators control over which system is in scope for a given interaction.

• The focus mode flag needs to be set on your tenant, or Focus Mode will not appear in the factory
